The following documents are required for international student admission:

Important points international students should pay attention to during the admission:
1. Upon entering the territory of Azerbaijan for the first time with the purpose to study the international students should within a 10-day period get registered upon place of their
residence. Otherwise a certain official fine will be imposed.
2. If a student has a birth certificate duly issued by the authorities of the Azerbaijan Republic or relatives with the Azerbaijani citizenship, or most importantly one or both parents with the Azerbaijani citizenship (or if used to be citizens), moreover who lived on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic for a certain period of time he should definitely notify the BMA Department on work with international students about that, alongside the advance notice about the presence or absence of dual citizenship. Persons with dual citizenship (both Azerbaijani or other country) have no right to study in Azerbaijan as international students.
3. If a student is enrolled in the Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate degree programs he should meet the following terms:
- it is important that in the event a student is enrolled in the Bachelor’s degree program he should submit the nostrification (verification) of the high education (school) diploma, for the
Master’s degree enrollment – the Bachelor’s degree diploma, for the Doctorate degree - Master’s degree diploma. Otherwise the admission will not be possible. Since the nostrification processing takes 2-5 months a non-matriculated student should make sure to apply for it at least 6 months in advance.
